Fontana, Daniele Di Girolamo

LATERA the art farm

The work is a kinetic and sound sculpture crafted from local chestnut wood. The rotating discs, containing natural fragments and materials collected in Latera, produce an amplified sound reminiscent of flowing water.

Installed in the passage of the four arches, the sculpture symbolically evokes the historic fountains of the village, presenting itself as a "fifth fountain."

The installation establishes a dialogue between landscape and local memory, inviting the audience to a multisensory experience that enhances the cultural identity of the territory.

A fifth source, suspended between earth and air, unites tradition and contemporaneity in an experience of listening and contemplation.
