To Erupt Elsewhere, Chiara Gambirasio

LATERA the art farm

"To Erupt Elsewhere" stems from an attentive listening to the depths of Latera and from the desire to bring hidden traces to the surface.

At the Canale Fountain, the Portal painted on a sheet of metal becomes a symbolic passage: a threshold connecting places and times through color, as if it were an underground tunnel linking the fountain to the Chestnut Grove. There, a permanent sculpture takes shape, composed of colored stones in pigmented cement, inspired by the chromatic tones gathered in the landscape.

The work, designed to be experienced, welcomes visitors, inviting them to sit, lie down, dance, allowing bodies to find positions of rest and openness.

Together, the two interventions unite geological memory and everyday gestures, transforming the village into a place where nature and community meet through the language of
color and form.
